A few days ago to my collection of lip sticks, lip balms and lip glosses joined two cosmetic designed to do, of course, lips. This is Kat Von D’s collection, Everlasting Obsession Lip Liner. Lip liners look cool and I’m looking forward to using all of them. So far I’ve managed to test only a few shades which you’re going to read about below.
Everlasting Obsession Lip Liner Collection
The lip liners designed by Kat Von D are closed in a black etui resembling an envelope. When I opened it for the first time I noticed that the cosmetics are placed in small compartments labelled with colours. These are shades of red, pink, violet, green and even black. In total we have 15 colours suitable for all make-up types and occasions. So far I have been using only the nude shades Saint, Lolita II and D-minor. I think, more courageous make-up stylisations will have their time soon.
How did Everlasting Obsession Lip Liner Collection by Kat Von D pass my test?
First of all, the shades passed the test with flying colours. They managed to fit in the entire make-up; they look good even on my pale complexion. I wouldn’t say that they are long-lasting as the producer claims, yet I can confirm that they don’t vanish during eating or heat. Additionally, they are resistant to water and sweat. Cream formula is strongly saturated thanks to which the colours is vivid and intensive. It’s clear to see even with the palest shade that I’ve been using.
How do I use Kat Von D Lip Liner Collection?
I used the cosmetics in two ways: to outline the lips and to fill the outline. Every single time I obtained the effect I wanted to get. The cosmetics deliver matte finish and precise coverage. How did I use Everlasting Obsession Lip Liner Collection? First, I outlined the contour of my lips and then I done the remaining part of lips. Of course, you can delicately smear the lip liners with your fingertip so as to obtain more subtle effect. Sometimes, I also applied a transparent lip gloss to make my lips look bigger and fuller.
