Do you shield your hair from heat damage? It’s absolutely awful what a blow dryer, flat iron or curler can do with our hair! Even though the bad consequences aren’t obvious at first glance, neither do they appear overnight, but the heat-styling tools are slowly making the hair condition worse. Fortunately, we can effectively impede the negative effect of heat styling. And it isn’t even difficult! Basically what you have to do is reach for a heat protection spray before reaching for a blow dryer. And one of my all-time favorites is Nanoil spray, which I’m going to review now.
Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray: What’s that? How does it work?
This spray was created to handle one important task: to prevent heat damage in hair. And even though there are many heat protectants to choose and pick from, the one offered by Nanoil is a little bit different. What makes it stand out? Just look:
- It has a lightweight and oil-free formula, which is great because it doesn’t drag hair down. It won’t create an oily coating on the strands either. (side note: Let me tell you that most heat protectants do leave an oily coating on hair.)
- Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray knows how to shield the hair against heat damage. I like the fact that I can set my flat iron to “high”, which is 440°F, and still be sure that I’m not doing any harm to my lovely tresses.
- As one of the few, Nanoil spray contains silk proteins. They fix damage and lock water inside the hair for increased hydration. Additionally, they promote smooth and shiny hair.
- With this spray, hair styling is a breeze! Since it leaves hair soft and elastic, it increases its manageability.
- I simply like using it because it leaves no traces on my mane. Even though it creates a tiny-shield on the hair, you won’t feel it. Moreover, I noticed that ever since I’ve been using Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray, my hair is no longer frizzy or static. This makes the Nanoil spray a perfect hair care product for the hot summer days as well as for the cold winter days.
All-year heat protection for hair
I’ve just said that Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray is ideal for the summer and autumn (when the humidity messes up with our tresses) and also for the winter (when the hats and scarves create static). Sometimes I put it on during the day, just when I feel that my hair would use some extra protection. But in general I follow the instructions, using the spray right before heat styling.
In most cases I do this after leaving shower, right before reaching for a blow dryer. I don’t think you need to use much because just three of four sprays are totally enough to create the protection the hair needs. Then I do my hair with a flat or curling iron, and that’s it.
I think I should also add that owing to Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray my hair is easier to style and holds the curl far longer. And the effect created looks natural – no clumps, no stiffness, no white residue.
If you would like to give this heat protectant a go, try ordering it from the official Nanoil store, which is nanoil.us. And don’t forget to let me know if you use heat damage protection – leave a comment <3
