The Best Lash Lift and Lamination Kits – My Test and Summary

Every woman has to spend a lot of time in front of the mirror every day to make her lashes look more beauiful. In this regard, I am no exception. I brush my lashes to separate them. I curl them with a lash curler and darken them with mascara. Sometimes it goes quickly, but there are days when my lashes refuse to cooperate. Had enough of this? Me too, which is why I decided to find a good lash lift and lamination kit for use at home.

I selected 7 BEST products from well-known and reputable beauty brands. I tested and evaluated each kit myself. Then, I compared all the products to create a ranking. So, if you’re looking for a good lash lift and lamination kit, I recommend reading my product comparison and discovering the winner of my test.

Ranking of Lash Lift and Lamination Kits

Although lash lift and lamination have long been offered by beauty salons, they can now be performed at home. I have to honestly admit that I like this option particularly, as I’m not too keen on visiting beauty salons. It requires a lot of time and money. I much prefer to take care of my appearance in the comfort of my home.

There are really many lash lift kits available on the beauty market, so choosing a specific product can be problematic for many women. I hope my product comparison will help you find your favorite. Enjoy the read!

1. Nanolash Lash Lift Kit – lash lift and lamination kit by Nanolash

lash lifting set nanolash

The winner of my test is the Nanolash Lash Lift Kit, one of the best kits for lash lift and lamination at home. The Nanolash brand is well known in the beauty world for its lash products, and I highly regard it. It provides offers high-quality cosmetics, and its lash lift kit is no exception. It’s a complete and professional kit for lash lift and lamination, which works perfectly in both beauty salons and at home.

The Nanolash Lash Lift Kit includes: 10 x 0.5 ml activator, 10 x 0.5 ml neutralizer, 10 x 0.5 ml keratin booster, 5 ml glue, 3 pairs of silicone rods (S, M, and L), and 3 lash combs. All products come in a white, elegant box, and they are all labeled and numbered to prevent mistakes. The contents of the Nanolash kit enable 10 individual lash laminations.

I must emphasize the high quality of Nanolash products. All the formulas are safe for the skin, gentle on natural lashes, and yet very effective. They contain beneficial ingredients such as keratin, silk, panthenol, lanolin, arginine, grape seed oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil. The accessories are handy and durable, making the entire process easier.

The high quality of the products greatly affects both the ease of application and the results. My natural lashes looked beautifully curled and lengthened. The precise lash combs perfectly separate the lashes, making the entire lash line appear fuller. My lashes laminated using the Nanolash kit are also noticeably healthier, softer, more flexible, and shiny. These effects last about 8 weeks.

2. Elleebana Lash Lift – starter lash lift kit

The Elleebana Lash Lift is a good lash lift kit for those who want a quick lamination and professional results. The lash lamination took me 25 minutes, which is certainly a good result.

The Elleebana Lash Lift includes: 15 sachets of activator, 15 sachets of neutralizer, a lash lifting tool, glue, a remover, silicone rods, brushes, and a metal applicator. Although the kit contains only 15 sachets of activator and 15 sachets of neutralizer, the manufacturer claims that up to 60 individual lash lifts can be performed using them. One sachet enables 4 lash laminations. However, there is a catch – the lash lifts must be performed one after the other within 24 hours, which is possible mainly in beauty salons.

At home, only 15 lash laminations can be performed. This outcome isn’t particularly good, considering the price of this product. I won’t sugarcoat it – it’s simply expensive. However, the results are truly beautiful. Curled, long, and voluminous lashes enhance my gaze fantastically. They are also shiny and supple.

3. RefectoCil Eyelash Lift – a kit for durable lash lift

With the RefectoCil Eyelash Lift kit, I performed a lash lamination in 15 minutes. Despite the short treatment time, I achieved satisfying results, which is certainly due to the well-formulated lifting products rich in collagen and cysteine.

The RefectoCil Eyelash Lift kit includes: 2 tubes of a lifting formula, 2 tubes of a neutralizer, a lash lifting tool, glue, 3 pairs of silicone rods (S, M, L), 2 small bowls, and 2 brushes. The kit includes 3 sizes of silicone rods, just like the Nanolash kit. I really like this because I can perfectly adjust the curl type to my eyes. All the kit components come in a makeup bag, which I consider an extra advantage.

The results are also great. My lashes were lifted and nourished, as the products contain beneficial ingredients. However, the durability of the results was slightly worse than with the winner – I could enjoy them for 6 weeks.

4. Fleeky Lashlift Kit

The next kit comes in a cute, pink design and is a great option for women who aren’t yet sure if lash lamination is the right beauty treatment for them. The Fleeky Lashlift Kit aenables only 2–4 individual laminations and costs relatively little. So, if you want to start your lash lift journey and don’t want to spend too much money, this product may be a good choice.

The Fleeky Lashlift Kit includes: 2 sachets of Lash Lift solution, glue, 3 pairs of silicone rods (S, M), 2 brushes, 2 lash combs, 4 lifting picks, and a lash-separating tool. The contents are basic – but if you’re satisfied with the results, you can invest in a larger and more expensive Maxi Kit, which is enough for 5–10 lash laminations.

A big advantage of this lash lift kit is that all products are vegan and cruelty-free. They gensure stunning results regardless of the initial length of your lashes. The natural lashes get curled, lengthened, and thickened, making your gaze look more defined.

5. Thuya Lash Lift Kit

The Thuya brand’s kit is suitable not only for a lash lift but also for brow lamination. So, it’s versatile and allows you to beautify the entire eye area. With one product, you can style both your lashes and tame your brows. Great, right?

The Thuya Lash Lift Kit includes: 15 ml of permanent gel, 15 ml of neutralizer, 15 ml of glue, silicone rods (M), and a wooden pick. The kit doesn’t include unnecessary tools, only the products essential for lash lift and lamination (or brow lamination). Each formula is large enough to last a long time. The only downside is that the kit only comes with silicone rods in one size. Unfortunately, S and L size rods must be purchased separately.

This is a versatile and efficient lash lift kit that ensures satisfying results. Thanks to the Thuya kit, I achieved curled and longer-looking lashes, a slightly fuller lash fan, and a beautiful gaze. I enjoyed these effects for about 6 weeks.

6. MIYA LASH Keratin Lash Lift Kit

The Miya Lash brand’s lash lift kit stands out for its particularly rich content. This kit includes various accessories. For many, this may be an advantage, but for me personally – not so much. I was simply lost and didn’t know which tool was for what.

MIYA LASH Keratin Lash Lift Kit includes: 5 ml of lifting lotion, 5 ml of setting serum, 7 ml of glue, 5 ml of remover, 5 pairs of silicone rods, 5 brushes, 10 microbrushes, 3 Y-shaped brushes, 5 lint-free applicators, 4 pairs of eye patches, and 1 lifting pick.

The addition of eye patches is certainly a plus, but other tools were unnecessary for me – I didn’t use them at all. As for the results of the lash lift and lamination, I was pleased. My lashes were curled and lifted, allowing me to finally ditch my lash curler.

7. Protein Reconstruction System Lash & Brow Kit by Zola

If you’re not concerned about professional lash lift and lamination results, the Zola Brow & Lash Protein Reconstruction System kit might appeal to you. It enables an extremely easy application, which every woman should be able to manage.

The Zola Brow & Lash Protein Reconstruction System contains no accessories, only three products with built-in applicators: Protein Strong Lifting, Protein Fixer, and Protein Care. The products are applied in a specific order, just like mascara. They’re rich in nourishing ingredients, so they improve the condition of the lashes. Interestingly, they can also be used to tame brows.

The results achieved with the Zola kit were beautiful. My lashes were curled and noticeably nourished. However, in terms of durability I don’t have good news – in this case, the lash lamination and lift need to be repeated more frequently.

Lash Lift and Lamination – Questions and Answers

Before I gained experience in this field, I had many questions about lash lift and lamination. I had to search for answers online. I’m sure you also have some doubts, so below, I answer the most frequently asked questions so that you have everything you need in one place.

  • What are the differences between lash lift and lash lamination?

During a lash lift, the lashes are lifted and curled. Lash lamination is usually the final stage of the lash lift and aims to moisturize and nourish the lashes.

  • How to prep the lashes for the lift and lamination?

Before the lash lift and lamination, you need to remove makeup from your lashes and clean them thoroughly. For this purpose, I recommend a lash and brow shampoo as it has a neutral pH.

  • How do both beauty treatments work?

When your lashes and the area around your eyes are clean, you can place the silicone rods of your chosen size on your eyelids and glue them in place. Then, brush your lashes onto the rods and apply the lifting solutions in the correct order (check the manufacturer’s instructions). Finally, remove the silicone rods and carefully brush through your lashes.

  • How often can you perform a lash lift and lamination?

It depends on the specific product. Generally, it’s recommended to repeat the lamination and lift every 6–7 weeks, but some kits ensure longer-lasting effects. However, always remember to take a break of at least 4 weeks.

  • Can you apply make-up following the lash lift and lamination?

Of course! You just need to wait about 12 hours after the treatment.

  • How to care for lifted and laminated lashes?

Lifted and laminated lashes don’t require special care. Just avoid moisture and high temperatures for the first 24 hours.
