A while ago I had a chance to test newest mascara from Rimmel London with innovative colouring formula. Mascara is supposed to darken natural colour of bare lashes while regular application of product. As a tester I have a chance to try mascara on my own lashes and see for myself if it truly works. Few words on Wonderfull Volume Colorist
Colouring formula of the newest Rimmel London is the biggest surprise to me. Of course, I heard of darkening conditioners, I used once serum with such properties, but this is a first time I heard of mascara that darkens lashes. It is truly worthy innovation to test!
How does darkening mascara work?
Rimmel patented complex of nourishing ingredients enriched with colouring ingredient. In its composition we will find i.a. strengthening and moisturising beeswax, Carnauba wax, smoothing Candelilla wax, natural collagen preventing lashes loss, darkening keratin that stimulates growth and well known for its properties Argan oil.
It is an enormous quality of Wonderfull Volume Colorist mascara, because besides standard thickening and length it offers deep nourishment of hair combined with colouring treatment. It seems intriguing and I cannot wait when I test darkening mascara on my pretty light lashes.
What do I expect from Rimmel mascara?
I have light and fine lashes, which I have to highlight with mascaras with specialistic formulas. I count on darkening of natural lashes in a matter of few weeks for about few tones. Wonder`full Volume Colorist is a promise of a more defined lashes, so I hope my eyes will gain expressiveness permanently.
When to expect effects?
In contrary to other mascaras Wonder`full Volume Colorist doesn’t promises something impossible. Indeed, thickening and lengthening effect should be provided after single application, because that is what mascara is for, to make our lashes more visible. However, long lasting effect of darkening is supposed to be visible after 2 weeks of regular use of Volume Colorist – that is when you can expect my review on this product. š
